Indonesia also has a rich traditional history of stone and shell cutting, and an associated folklore, mainly from outside of Bali. At Kapit Mas we have recruited a talented crew of traditional stone and shell cutters, and trained them in the skills of inlay and soft stone cutting for jewelry purposes. The quality of work produced by our inlay division is well recognised as being at the very top level. We stock a wide variety of stones and shell for inlay work, including Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise, laboradite, Mother of Pearl, Tahitian Peal Shell, New Zealand Abalone (Paua) Shell, and others, or if you have your own material which you would like us to cut and use in your jewelry we can support you with that also.
